Graduate Teachers' Federation seeks old pension scheme in Erode

TN Graduate Teachers' Federation has demanded that the DMK rule bring back the old pension scheme as per its election promise. The State General Committee meeting of the  Federation was held at Al Amin College of Engineering on Wednesday. As per GO 243 consultation should be conducted for teachers transfer. Eight graduate teacher posts should be ensured in all high schools. 
Govt should announce that TET qualification test is not required for promotion as Headmaster. Only graduate teachers should be promoted to the post of High School Headmaster. 
The teacher student ratio should be fixed at 1:20 for first class and 1:25 for class 9 and 10.  Federation State President K Thangavelu District Secretary Veera Karthik, State Treasurer S Narayanan and many others participated in the program.
