Grand Celebration of Jagadguru Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi’s Birth Anniversary in Bodh Gaya

The birth anniversary of Jagadguru Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi was celebrated with spiritual harmony under the banner of “Unity of Light” at the Wat Thai Magadh Buddhist Vipassana Center in Bodh Gaya on Saturday (Aug 2). On this special occasion, spiritual leaders from Sanatan and Buddhist traditions arrived from 14 countries, including India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Addressing the gathering via video message from the United States, Sai Maa said,
“Lord Buddha said ‘Appa Deepo Bhava’—Be your own light; do not depend on anyone. What we must learn from the Buddha is that the essence of life lies in balance, and taking it to any extreme is a mistake.”
The entire program was organized and coordinated by international yoga guru Swami Santoshanand Maharaj. Among those present were many disciples of Sai Maa who have been initiated as Mahamandaleshwars, including Mahamandaleshwar Anant Das, Mahamandaleshwar Jeevan Das, Mahamandaleshwar Parmeshwar Das, and Mahamandaleshwar Triveni Das, as well as Bhikkhu Phra Vithes Thun, social worker Nandkishore Prasad alias Bablu, and many other distinguished guests from different countries.
