GRG Modern Scholars, a Cambridge International School in Coimbatore, partnered with the Indian Development Foundation (IDF) to host a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education workshop on June 29 at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women.
The event aimed to advance STEM education and featured expert sessions, interactive workshops, and panel discussions. Nearly 300 educators from schools in and around Coimbatore participated, highlighting the community's commitment to enhancing STEM education.
Dr. Jayaraman, Ms. Haritha (Principal, PSGR KCW), Ms. M. Uma (Principal, GRG Modern Scholars), and Ms. Aruna Naik (CEO, IDF) inaugurated the event. Notable speakers included Mr. Roshin John, Ed Tech Evangelist at Nanoskool, Dr. Laura Richards from the University of Manchester, Dr. Krishna from the University of Cambridge, and Dr. A.P. Jayaraman, a renowned nuclear scientist.
The workshop emphasised practical learning and future-ready skills, aiming to inspire a new generation of thinkers and problem-solvers.
