HR & CE dept asked to grant compensation to Annur temple

sident GK Nagaraj sought compensation for Annoor  Annoor Perumal temple from the HR and CE department.
The ancient Karivaradharajaperumal temple in Annur is a heritage deity for some communities in the area. Various renovation works were carried out in this temple at a cost of Rs 3 cr. 
The kumbabishekam was scheduled to be held on Dec 2. But, the department intervened and stopped it. 
More than 40 pundits came from Tirupati as part of the festival. 
They have been sent back. The temple administration has suffered a heavy financial loss due to the action of the department while the expenditure for the arrangement for kumbabishekam including Yagasala was above Rs. 10 lakh. 
The money was donated by the public. It has given permission to perform Kumbabhishekam on  December 14 after Nagaraj and many dignitaries inspected the arrangements. 
So, Nagaraj demanded that "the officials who stopped the Kumbabhishekam with various motives should compensate the temple for the loss".
