HR & CE Secretary inspects Kodumudi Temple

Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism, Culture and Charities) Dr K. Manivasan inspected the basic facilities and development works at the Kodumudi Magudeswarar and Veera Narayana Perumal Temple in Erode District, in the presence of Erode District Collector Raja Gopal 
Sunkara.
The Chief Minister, while distributing the welfare assistance distribution ceremony for Erode District on 20.12.2024, had announced that basic development facilities for the devotees of the Magudeswarar Temple and Veera Narayana Perumal Temple in Kodumudi would be created at a cost of Rs. 7 crore.
Based on that, he instructed the officials to carry out the basic facilities being carried out in the temples, such as the improvement of the dress changing room for devotees, and the collection place for clothes left by devotees at the Cauvery footpath, the employment of necessary cleaning workers, and solid waste management.
He instructed the  engineers to plant saplings to keep the temple clean and green, to produce and grow the sacred Vanni tree of this temple through tissue culture, and to prepare a project estimate to improve the basic facilities and send it to the government.
HRCE Department Joint Commissioner Paranjyothi, Assistant Commissioner Sukumar, Zonal Engineer Chandrashekar, Zonal Assistant Executive Engineer Kaneeswari, and Executive Officer Thirugnanasambandham were present on the occasion.
