Indian Bank Celebrates 119th Foundation Day with Grandeur in Coimbatore

Indian Bank's 119th Foundation Day was celebrated by the bank's Coimbatore Zonal Office. The celebratory event, held at a private hotel  in Coimbatore, was inaugurated by the bank's Coimbatore Field General Manager, Ms B Sudha Rani, who lit the traditional lamp.

The occasion was graced by the presence of several  guests, including Chief General Manager Selvi V.N. Maya, Zonal Manager Mr Venkata Ramana Rao C H, Deputy Zonal Manager Mr Ameerullah Jawahir K M, and  retired executives, all of whom added to the grandeur of the celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Field General Manager Ms B Sudha Rani announced that Indian Bank had achieved a significant new milestone, recording a total business of Rs. 13.45 lakh crore. She urged customers to actively utilize the bank's various applications and digital products for their banking needs. Ms B Sudha Rani also extended her heartfelt gratitude to the customers for their invaluable contribution, which has propelled Indian Bank to become the nation's 7th largest public sector bank.

Zonal Manager Mr Venkata Ramana Rao C H, in his address, expressed his appreciation to the customers for their unwavering support in the bank's continuous growth journey. The event concluded with Deputy Zonal Manager Mr Ameerullah Jawahir K M delivering the vote of thanks to all participants.

In conjunction with the main celebration, the Indian Bank's Coimbatore Zonal Office also spearheaded several community-oriented initiatives. Under CSR bank has organised Tree plantations, distributed note books and vessels, plates to students and conducted competition for school students and awarded prizes, and conducting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) camps.
