Insertion of symbols in EVMs begin

Erode parliamentary constituency has more than 15 lakh voters. There are about 1,688 polling stations. The EVMs, control machines and VVPAT machines that can be used in these polling stations have already been sent to the respective assembly constituencies. 31 people are contesting in the Erode parliamentary seat. As the allotment of EVMs have been made, the work of inserting the names and symbols of the candidates in the EVMs has started on Wednesday. The voting machines for Erode East constituency are kept safe in the Corporation,  West are kept safe in the Erode Taluk office. In this case, the work of affixing the name symbols of the candidates on the voting machines for Erode West constituency has started in the presence of recognized political parties, and Collector Rajagopal Sunkara. The work will be held for 3 days at Erode Corporation  Gopi Taluk and Andhiyur Taluk Offices.
