Inter-College Chess tourney begins

Bharatiyar University inter collegiate chess competition began at the Kongu Arts and Science College Erode on Monday. Over 40 teams of men and women have participated in the competition. 

The competitions were inaugurated by the correspondent of the college PT Thangavel and Principal Dr N Raman in the presence of college physical education director Dr Sankar and Srivasavi College Physical Education Director Dr Ramesh. A team of professors headed by Kongu Art and Science College organized the competition. The awarding ceremony for the winning teams will be held on Wednesday, the final day of the competition.
