International girl child day observed

School students took part in the event that was organized at the collector’s office in the city on Wednesday on the occasion of international girl child day. The state government has organized various events to observe the day. As a part of it, a signature campaign was organized at the collector’s office. During the event, the collector Kranthikumar Pati along with the children took a pledge to save and educate girl children. He also took photographs with the children. Sweets were distributed to the children.
