International study tour organised for MBA aspirants of SVPISTM

MBA students from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM), Coimbatore, embarked on an international study tour to Vietnam in the first week of March 2025. The tour provided an enriching experience, blending industrial exposure with cultural and historical exploration.
In Ho Chi Minh City, students visited key landmarks, including the Central Post Office, an architectural marvel from the colonial era. A visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels offered insights into Vietnam’s wartime history and the resilience of its people.
The tour also included a visit to the Mekong Delta, where students experienced the region’s unique waterways, floating markets, and traditional crafts, gaining a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rural economy.
A key highlight was the industrial visit to PPJ Group International Company, where students explored Vietnam’s textile and apparel industry, production processes, and market dynamics. They also attended the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles & Technologies (VIATT), where they engaged with global industry leaders, explored the latest innovations, and studied emerging trends in the textile sector.
The study tour provided participants with valuable real-world exposure, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices. By experiencing Vietnam’s history, economy, and trade firsthand, students gained a global perspective on the textile industry, enhancing their understanding of international business dynamics.
