INTUC plea to sanction Govt Benefits to construction workers

INTUC Council appealed to the government to sanction due benefits to the members of construction workers welfare boards without delay.
 

A consultation meeting of newly elected Erode district INTUC council functionaries was held at the Congress party office under the leadership of N. Duraisamy district president. 
 

Tamil Nadu INTUC Council President VR Jaganathan and General Secretary M. Panneer Selvam graced the meeting as special guests.The following resolutions were passed: 
 

It was resolved to take more members to the INTUC Conference to be held in August at Madurai. Sanction outstanding cash benefits to the staff in the TNSTC and TNEB. Regularise contract staff of TNEB. Strengthen all the affiliated unions of INTUC Council and enroll more members in the union.
