Investing in Education, Building a Brighter Future

Education Development Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and optimism at    St. Jude’s Public School and Junior College, Kotagiri on July 15. The celebration was held under the guidance of the Chairman, Dr P.P. Dhanarajan and the Executive Director, Dr. Samjith Dhanarajan. The Principal, Dr Saro Dhanarajan and the Additional Principal, Mr C. Sivakumar presided over the proceedings of the day. On this day, the Judians honoured the tireless efforts of the former Chief Minister, K. Kamaraj who had introduced the free “Midday Meal Scheme” and “Free and Compulsory Education for Children”. Faculties Gokila, Jhansi, Sasikumar and Chandran, in their speech, reminded everyone that “Education is not a one-day affair but a life-long journey”. The programme ended with Mrs Lathika thanking the gathering.
