Is 130th amendment needed?

Is 130th amendment needed?

The 130th Amendment to the Indian Constitution, proposed by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Lok Sabha, has created controversy. The opposition parties have registered their strong opposition, saying that this is a new arrangement that prepares the coffin for democracy and indirectly implements authoritarian & autocratic rule, and that it is a day of mourning that has buried democracy and planted the seeds of authoritarianism.
Even a layman understands that if a person is imprisoned for 30 days as a pre-trial prisoner, the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, ministers, and those elected by the people will automatically lose their positions, which is against the process of justice. This law is not suitable for a democratic country. That is why opposition party leaders are criticizing it as a black law.
No matter what case is filed against a person, until the crime is proven beyond doubt and the court sentences him, he is only "accused"; until the crime is fully investigated and the sentence is definitely imposed, he is innocent; not guilty. Why is the current Union Government trying to change this method? What is the need for it?
The beauty of our country's justice system is that even if a thousand criminals escape, not a single innocent person should be punished. So, doesn't the 130th Amendment, which has just been brought in, pave the way for the early punishment of deprivation of office for many innocent people?
The law proposed by the BJP government is completely contrary not only to the Constitution but also to civil and criminal law.
Democrats fear that this kind of arbitrary removal of democratically elected persons  incite the rulers to adopt the authoritarian mindset of "I am the king; we make the law." If this bill becomes law, it should also be considered that those who bring it forward may also face consequences.
The prevailing view is that this bill is anti-democratic. The slogan that this law, which is like a daylight robbery that takes away the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Indian Constitution, should not be passed at all is echoing across the country.
May democracy flourish and flourish!
