IT raid at actor Arya’s house

Sleuths from Income Tax (IT) department are conducting search operations at actor Arya’s residence and other premises in the city.
Arya has acted in numerous films including Naan Kadavul, Boss engira Bhaskaran, Pattiyal, Madharasapattinam and Arambam among others. He was married to actress Sayyeshaa a few years ago, and they have a daughter.  
He is said to be the owner of a restaurant called ‘Sea Shell’, and operating it through his relatives. IT officials raided the branches of the restaurant located at Anna Nagar, Kottivakkam, Velachery and Kilpauk. 
They have also raided the actor’s house in Alwarpet. However, Arya clarified that he has no connection with the restaurant. Officials have also raided the restaurant’s owner Kunhi Musa’s house in Taramani.
