JACTTO GEO stages dharna

The Government and teaching, non teaching staff members of JACTTO GEO, led by its district coordinator R Vijayamanoharan, staged dharna in front of the Erode taluk office urging the DMK government to fulfil its poll promises including restoration of old pension scheme, filling up of all vacancies, regularisation of contract, consolidated, noonmeal, amganwadi staff, removal of pay anomalies of teachers, payment of pay commission's 21 month pay arrears, pay on par with central staff, etc. 
TNGEA, TN Aasiriyar Koottani, TNPGTA, TNROA, TN HSS Graduate Teachers Assn, TN Noonmeal, MRB Nurses assn etc attended the stir. Nearly 1000 staff were held by the police for staging dharna on the road near  Taluk office.
