Jactto Geo to picket Secretariat on Dec 28

Tamil Nadu Education Department Administrative Officers Association, affiliated to  JACTTO JEO decided to picket Secretariat in Chennai on Dec 28.
The union's state convention was held at Erode on Saturday. State President of the Association A Shekhar, State Vice President K Rajesh, State Secretary  Vijay Manokaran, State Executives Selvakumar, Pandithurai, Tirupati, Kumar, Kurinchivelan,Bachiyammal, Eshil Yuvavathi, David Christopher, Balamurugan, District Secretary Palanivel, Tamil Nadu Government Employees Union State General Secretary A Selvam, State President Mu Anbarasu and others were present.
Resolutions passed in the conference are: The stir is going on to urge the government to fulfill the long-standing demands of the government employees and teachers, including the restoration of old pension scheme. Abandon the appointment of direct assistants which is a barrier to promote junior assistants. 
Promotion should be given to the Junior Assistant who didn't get promotion for the past 10 years. 
The union will meet the education minister on December 29 to present the resolutions of the state conference and hold demo in all district capitals on January 30 to emphasize the demands. If the demands are not met, a massive protest will be held at the TBI premises in Chennai on February 21.
