Kalaignar’s Social Justice has raised you to heights, DMK’s Sivasenapathy to BJP’s Annamalai

Can you prove that you are not one of the beneficiaries of the reservation system, Karthikeya Sivasenapathy, the secretary of DMK’s environment wing, asks BJP state president K Annamalai. 

Taking to Twitter, Sivasenapthy in a video said, “It is only the social justice brought by the former minister M Karunanidhi that has taken people like me who were rearing cattle to higher posts after 1974. In the same year, he introduced a category called backward community and a separate Kongu Vellalar community.” 

If you prove that you are not one of the beneficiaries of the reservation system introduced by the DMK government, we will not talk about the reservation system at all, he said, questioning Annamalai whether he had mentioned that he belonged to Kongu Vellalar community or backward community in any of his education or job application forms. 

“If you would have reached the heights with the help of the reservation system, then thank the DMK government instead of attacking people on their personal front,” he added.
