On February 28th, the inaugural event, titled Kalakshetra Carnatic Choir - Gita Kala Samanvayam, also commemorated the centenary of the revered M. D. Ramanathan, a stalwart of Kalakshetra's music faculty, whose profound impact continues to resonate within its hallowed halls.
