Kalasalingam University hosts international conference

Kalasalingam University’s Department of English, School of Liberal Arts and Special Education (SLASE), successfully hosted a two-day international conference on "Evolving Perspectives in Humanities and Social Sciences" - ICEPHSS'25.
The event was presided over by Chancellor Dr. K Sridharan, with Vice President Dr. S Shasi Anand, Vice Chancellor Dr. S Narayanan, and Registrar Dr. V Vasudevan in attendance. Dr. MP Pallikonda Rajasekaran, Director of R&D, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. V Pandiarajan, Dean of SLASE, outlined the conference agenda.
Dr. Suhil Mital from James Madison University, USA, released the Conference Souvenir. Keynote addresses were delivered by Dr. Samantha Curle, University of Bath, UK, Dr. Kaarthiyainy Supramanion, University Technology, Malaysia, Dr. Chahra Beloufa, Arab Open University, Saudi Arabia, Dr. T Matrix Pondicherry University, Dr. Jasmine Jose Nirmala College, Kerala, and Dr. J John Sekar, American College, Madurai.
The conference received an overwhelming response, with 200 research papers submitted from scholars across the globe. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. BR Aravind, Head of the English Department. Dr. S Ramadevi, Dr. A Hariharasudan, and the SLASE faculty were instrumental in the successful execution of the conference.
