Kalasalingam University secures 28th rank in NIRF 2025

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 was released today by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, highlighting the top-performing universities, colleges, and institutions across the country.
Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), a deemed university, has achieved significant recognition, securing the 28th position among all universities in India. The institution has also been ranked 33rd under the Engineering category, while it stood 48th in the overall category across India.
The rankings are based on parameters such as Teaching, Learning and Resources; Research and Professional Practice; Graduation Outcomes; Outreach and Inclusivity; and Peer Perception.
In addition, KARE has been placed in the 11–50 band for innovations and in the 11–50 band among Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) institutions, reaffirming its commitment to research and sustainable growth.
The Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan, Pro Chancellor Dr. S. Arivazhahi, and Vice Presidents Dr. S. Shasi Anand and Mr. S. Arjun Kalasalingam congratulated Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deans, Directors, staff, and stakeholders for their collective effort in securing this achievement.
