Kalasalingam University: South India’s first ACM SIGBED Student Chapter launched

Srivilliputhur Kalasalingam University's  Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organised the inaugural function of Association for Computing Machinery’s (ACM) - Special Interest Group on Embedded Systems (SIGBED) students chapter in the varsity. 
The Chancellor Dr.K.Sridharan presided. The Chief Guest Mr.Balamurali Palaniyandi, Head - Cloud & DevOps CoE, Tata Elxsi, Bangalore inaugurated the chapter.
Director -AR ,Dr P.Deepalakshmi, Dean Dr. P. Sivakumar and HoD Dr. J. Charles Pravin  addressed on plan of Chapter Activities.
The Chancellor launched the official KARE ACM SIGBED website developed by Mr. Nischal S.Tumbheti  .   Chapter members of 125 students  participated Faculty Dr. P. Manikandan and Dr. V. Muneeswaran and ECE students organised the event well. Chapter secretary Ms.Selva jotheca and Ms Shirin welcomed  and vice chair Mr.Aaromal thanked all.
