KASC arranges industrial visit

One day industrial visit of 60 second year Management Science (PG) students to Agni Steels Private Limited, Ingur,  Perundurai was arranged by Kongu Arts and Science College (KASC).    on 9 th September 2022.
The visit to over 30 year old unit was mainly focused to understand the procedures involved during the production of steels, and the technology & equipment used.

Students were split into three groups and floor supervisors have explained about the facilities available inside the industry and their methods of collecting the iron core, the equipment used for the extraction of iron and their storage and production unit. They also explained about the maintenance of the equipment and ethics considered during production and disposal of waste.
