KMCH conducts 27th AMPICON 2024 Annual Conference of Medical Physicists

The Annual Conference of the Association of Medical Physicists of India – AMPICON 2024 TN PY Chapter – concluded successfully, bringing together over 250 medical physicists from across South India. 
Conducted on 15th March 2025, this one-day conference featured expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and E-Poster Sessions covering a wide range of topics, including advancements in radiation therapy, imaging technologies, radiation safety, and quality assurance in cancer care. 
Presided by Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH, the conference was held in the presence of Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Vice Chairman, Dr. Arun Palaniswami, Executive Director, Dr. Subramaniam R, Organizing Chairman, and Dr. Bharanidharan G, AMPI Secretary. The conference underscored the growing importance of medical physics in enhancing cancer care and improving clinical outcomes. It provided a valuable opportunity for medical physicists to engage with industry leaders, exchange research findings, and explore innovative solutions to complex challenges in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
