KMCH hosts Atrial Fibrillation Conclave

Cardiac Electrophysiology is a separate branch of Cardiology that deals with disorders of the hearts electrical system (arrhythmias). The heart diseases are commonly called “arrhythmias” or “heart rhythm disorders”, which are increasing at a rapid pace with the fast life.

Kovai Medical Center and Hospitals has acquired state of art Cryoablation for cardiac arrhythmia management and established Center of Excellence of Atrial Fibrillation. Cryoablation is the most advanced and safest method for the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias. Cryoballoon has been used to treat over half a million patients in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Division of Cardiac pacing and Electrophysiology at KMCH hospitals, is organizing ATRIAL FIBRILLATION CONCLAVE, across different cities in Tamil Nadu to create awareness of recent advances in the management of Atrial Fibrillation, and the first meeting was held at Trichy on August 7th 2022. 

Dr. M. Lawrance Jesuraj  Organizing Secretary of the Conference said that this academic extravaganza has been meticulously arranged to deliberate on the newer advances in the management of Atrial Fibrillation.
This academic event held in Trichy on Atrial Fibrillation, with a target audience of cardiologists, anesthetists, critical care physicians, and general physicians witha keen interest in the field of cardiac arrhythmias, is a well-attended and unique program in this part of Tamil Nadu and more than 200 doctors participated in this conference.
