KPR IET organises NSS special camp

A one-week special camp to the rural areas of Attakatti and Topslip of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve was expedited with 25 student volunteers and 5 faculty co-ordinators of the students of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology who involved in renovation work, plumbing, construction and other works to uplift the livelihood of Nagarooth, Ulandhi and Sarkarpathy tribal people. The camp was inaugurated in the Forest office of Pollachi in the presence of Shri. M. G. Ganeshan, District Forest Officer and Deputy Director of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve, Pollachi division and Shri. Selvam, the Assistant Forest Conservator of Anaimalai Tiger Reserve.

The commitment of the Institute  towards the promotion of social change in the society is highly received by the tribal people.
