KPR Mill hosts 11th convocation ceremony

KPR Women Employees Education Division, in collaboration with KPR Mill Limited, hosted the 11th Convocation Ceremony to celebrate the academic achievements of its women employees at the mill Tirupur on Jan 25. 


Dignitaries Gracing the Event were:Dr. K.P. Ramasamy, Chairman, KPR Group of Companies, chief guests Dr. Govi Chezhiyan, Minister of Higher Education, Shri Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi,  Minister of School Education, Special Guests Sikaram Sathish, C.K. Kumaravel, and Sujith Kumar  The event highlighted KPR’s ongoing commitment to empowering women through education, a cornerstone of the organization’s social responsibility. 


579 women including 11 top-ranking students, who won gold, silver, and bronze medals got their degree certificates  First-place winners received a cheque of Rs. 5,000 each, a token of appreciation from KPR Group. 
Through the KPR Mill Women Employees Education over 41,000 women employees have completed their higher education. 


This year alone, more than 5,000 women are pursuing further studies, showcasing the growing impact of the program.  
The convocation ceremony is a testament to KPR Group’s vision to uplifting women, empowering communities, and fostering inclusive growth.
