Law students launch Yercaud clean-up drive

Students of Central Law College, Salem launched a clean-up drive in Yercaud.Led by  Saravanan, president of Salem Central Law College, college students organized a rally to clean the Yercaud area yesterday. Since Sunday morning, the students and teachers of Salem Central Law College have collected and removed the garbage lying on the roadsides of Yercaud Boathouse Road, Anna Park Road, Ondikkadai Roundabout, Yercaud Bus Station and Yercaud Town.

More than 200 people took out a rally from Yercaud Anna Park via Ondikkadai Roundabout to the boathouse to create awareness among the public and stressed that "Namma Salem, Namma Yercaud we will make our living place a clean and hygienic place". On Monday they have planned  to clean the garbage on the roads in the rural areas of Yercaud
