Let us cast our vote so that good governance may flourish

Let us cast our vote so that good governance may flourish

The election campaign for the LokSabha elections ended on Wednessday at 6.00 pm and the countdown for the polling has started.
Tamil Nadu turf is witnessing a four-cornered competition between DMK alliance, AIADMK alliance, BJP alliance and NaamTamilar Party.Voting will be held tomorrow (April 19) for the 39 parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu and the by-elections for the Vilavankode Assembly.
A total of 950 candidates are contesting in 39 parliamentary constituencies. 6,23,33,925 people are eligible to vote in this LokSabha election in Tamil Nadu.
It is important to look at the qualifications, performance and skills of the candidates before deciding to vote for a particular candidate. However in a parliamentary system, its members cannot function on their own accord They will lose office if they vote against the orders of the party whip on bills affecting the country.
So it is important that voters know the policies of the competing political parties and vote accordingly.
Undoubtedly the vote each of us casts in the LokSabha elections will have an impact on the entire country in one way or another.Voting with this understanding is our primary democratic duty.
The Election Commission has created enough awareness so that everyone should vote compulsorily.
The day of polling is the most important celebration of the election festival. Even if the summer heat is scorching, we should protect ourselves from it and participate in this festival promptly.
Let us hope for good governance flourish in India!
