Let us embrace 2024 with renewed hopes

Let us embrace 2024 with renewed hopes

The year 2023 has come to an end, and 2024 has begun. Let's review the events of the last 12 months. There was not as much joy as pain.
The Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft brought happiness to our nation in 2023 when it landed on the moon's south pole. Corona's effects subsided, and life was peaceful. The New Parliament building was opened . With the successful hosting of the G20 summit, Prime Minister Modi brought pride to India on the international arena.
Even though a lot of positive things have happened, a lot of unpleasant events have also happened.
With heavy hearts, we remember the over 100 people who perished in the months-long Manipur riots; the brutality of women being paraded nude; the 280 people who died in the Odisha train accident; the 70 people who perished in Sikkim's heavy rains; the Michaung storm that overturned Chennai; and the heavy downpours and casualties that ravaged the southern districts, we encountered.
On the global scene, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has lasted for more than a year. The Israel-Palestine war is still going on. Tens of thousands of people have died in the conflict, most of them innocent children.
We have moved past the most tragic events of 2023 and now entered the new year of 2024, in accordance with the proverb "this too shall pass."
All the leaders are congratulating. Special prayers are going on in all religious places of worship.
The people of the country are also exchanging greetings with each other.
Everyone's expectation is that there should be happiness in the country and at home. May good things happen.
Happy New Year everyone!
