Let us inculcate the sense of divinity and nationalism

On the occasion of the 75th Independence Golden Jubilee, Vellalar College for Women, Erode and Sangamitra Centre for Music and Fine Arts, Chennai organized a one-day national seminar on the topic  'Let's realize the spirit of divinity and nationalism'. Modakurichi MLA Dr Saraswathi and College Secretary  SD Chandra Shekhar in his keynote address highlighted the life of freedom  fighters and their spirit of sacrifice. 

College Principal Dr. S. G. Jayanthi, Sangamitra Centre for Music, Fine Arts Director and Professor of Music Maheshwari Subramani, Chairman of the Centre Mr. P. Madhu and host Mr. N. Mohan  Babu highlighted the merits of the seminar.  Special guest Saraswati Ramanathan sang songs with music and explore the history of martyrs with a spiritual perspective. Dr Nirmala Devi, HoD, Tamil Department proposed a vote of thanks.
