Liver transplant performed at Abirami Kidney Care Hospital

Dhanush, a 20-year-old boy from Erode district, met with an accident on the March 11, admitted to the Erode Government Sanatorium Medical College Hospital and was brain dead on March 14. As per the wish of his family, 
his liver was removed and sent by ambulance to Erode Abhirami Kidney Care Hospital within 15 minutes.
Subsequently, a 58-year-old man underwent a liver transplant on the orders of the Tamil Nadu Organ Transplantation Organisation in the hospital. The surgery was held the next day by Dr. T. Saravanan and Dr. Karthik Mathivanan. 
The patient was in good health after the surgery which took about 12 hours. 
The hospital, approved by TN Government Commission for Liver Transplantation conducted Liver Surgery for 3rd time successfully.
