Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple inspired gold jewel steals show at “Jewel One”

The "Jewel One" Jewellery showroom located near the Salem New Bus Stand played host to a distinctive wedding jewelry exhibition cum sale featuring a dollar crafted in the exact shape of the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple Gopuram.
Mr. Loganathan, the District Superintendent of Police Officer, who officially innaugurated the exhibition. Curated to cater to various special occasions such as engagements, bridal showers, mukurtham, and subsequent wedding events, the showcased an array of intricate jewelry designs. Notably, the government-prescribed standards of 9.16 were elevated to 91.75, accompanied by the introduction of new and trendy jewelry designs featuring featuring jeweled stones and enamels, as stated by Mr. Antony, the Communication Officer of "Jewel One."
The particularly eye-catching piece on display was a 700-gram gopuram, crafted in the exact likeness of the Meenakshi Amman Gopuram of Madurai, a renowned architectural marvel in Tamil Nadu. This masterpiece has been transformed into a neck ornament and is now available for purchase. Mr. Antony reported a considerable interest from potential buyers, especially those drawn to the newly introduced wedding jewelry types, adding that the wedding jewelry collection also caters to middle-class and economically disadvantaged customers.
