Maharishi Vidya Mandir senior secondary school has organized a comprehensive nine-day in-house training programme on Maharishi consciousness-based education (CBE) for its teachers from May 31.
The inaugural session commenced with the traditional Guru Parampara Poojan, led by Vasanthi Parasuraman and principal Anitha Ram. It was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Vedic Shanti Path, setting a reverent tone for the training.
The programme is designed to deepen the educators’ understanding and practical application of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s principles of consciousness-based learning. The sessions aim to equip teachers with techniques to create a more harmonious, stress-free, and effective learning environment, fostering the holistic development of students.
Resource person from MVM Hyderabad, principal Vasanthi Parasuram will lead the workshops, focusing on the integration of transcendental meditation, brain-based learning strategies, and personality development into daily classroom teaching. This approach encourages the development of students’ full potential—intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
Anitha Ram said, “This training will empower our teachers to bring transformational change in the classroom, enabling them to nurture not just academic excellence but also inner happiness and coherence among students.”
