Making development a reality to everyone is Dravidian Model governance said Chief Minister M.K Stalin.
Delivering address in Theni district today at a function to inaugurate completed projects and to launch new projects in Theni today, the Chief Minister said, that government’s target was to satisfy the needs of every individual. The state government was keenly carrying out plans making sure all projects and schemes reach every one. The Dravdian Model of development is journey in this direction said the Chief Minister.  

He said it is one more week to go before the DMK Government completes a year since it came to power and the government has done in one year what it could take 5 to 10 years. “We have arrested coronavirus spread to a large extent. We made the vaccination drive a people’s movement. 91 per cent people in the state have been given the 1st dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccination. Women can travel freely in public bus transport. After coming to power all households were given Rs.4000 cash aid towards coronavirus relief. 

Immediately after coming to power before any other state government the DMK government reduced price of petrol by Rs.3 per liter.  Rs 317 crore worth schemes are being carried out for the Sri Lankan Tamil refugees. The government will function to win the appreciation of all sections of the people, said M.K Stalin.The Chief Minister inaugurated 102 new projects at an outlay of Rs 74.21 crore and inaugurated completed projects worth Rs 300 crore.

Earlier, the Chief Minister made surprise check in the ration shop inArapadithevanpatti inAandipattiPanchayat Union in Theni District. He checked the quality and availability of the essential goods being distributed to the public.
