The violence took place in Nuhdistrict of Haryana district. Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad organized a procession there. It is said that some people pelted stones at the procession. According to reports, there was a conflict between the two groups and a religious riot. The violence started in Nuh district and spread to nearby areas including Gurugram and Faridabad. While some of them were killed, many policemen who were involved in preventing the violence were also injured. The violence has affected normal life in Gurgaon, Balwal, Rewari and Faridabad. The violence took place after some unidentified persons entered a religious procession in Nuhil area. Rumors that Bajrang Dal leader MonuManesar, accused in the killing of two Muslims, was participating in the procession were also said to be the cause of the violence.
While news of religious violence in Muslim-majority Nuh district spread on social media, violence also spread in Sohna, Gurugram, Faridabad and Balwal districts. After that, many roadblock incidents took place there. Some were also involved in violent incidents. Shops and vehicles were all set on fire.


Due to this violent incident, there is a tense atmosphere in the entire state of Haryana. Haryana government is taking various measures to bring the violence under control.
The website has been disabled to avoid sharing hateful comments through social media. Border security has been beefed up to prevent outsiders from entering the Nuh area.
It is in this situation that Ariana Police has released shocking information. A mob of 80 people set fire to the Jama Masjid in Gurugram area at night and brutally murdered the imam of the mosque. Another person is being treated in hospital with serious injuries.


On the other hand, speaking after the violence in Haryana, state Home Minister Anil Vij said, “This much violence has not happened suddenly. Both the communities have been living in Nuh region for a long time. Someone has planted poison here. Some have planned and conspired. "Seeing stones, weapons and bullets were kept at the entrance and on the roofs, it seems that this did not happen suddenly," he said.
