Marathon in Perundurai: More than 600 participate

Perundurai JK Moongil Katru Foundation, Prithvic Fashions and Z Fit organized a marathon on Sunday to promote physical health.Foundation chairman and Perundurai MLA S. Jayakumar Jayakumar participated and gave prizes to the winners.  The competition was held for 3 and 5 km. More than 600 sportsmen and women from various districts participated. Abhishek won the first prize in the men's category, Taruna  in the girls' category, Sanjith and Bhuvana won the first prize in the under-14 category. The first prize is a bicycle, Rs. 5,000 and a trophy. The program was presided over by Dr. Yasodharan of the Foundation, Texas Ajay, Tamilarasu, Yuva Nithiya. Perundurai Traffic Police Inspector Premkumar inaugurated the marathon.
