Mayor gives appreciation certificate to FATIA

Erode Corporation Mayor Nagarathinam Subramaniam handed over appreciation certificate to Federation of All Trade and Industries Association (FATIA) of Erode District President VK Rajamanikkam for the FATIA's excellent performance in creating awareness among the people on Clean City concept.

People's Movement for Clean Cities project has been started and various corporations are creating awareness among the people on the concept that 'my garbage is my responsibility'. 

In this connection, a felicitation ceremony for all the organizations that worked in collaboration with the Erode Corporation was held at the Corporation office yesterday in which the FATIA and many outfits were patted for creating awareness among people of all the activities of the Corporation, including collection of solid wastes and converting  it into fertilizers and giving it to the farmers free of cost.
