Meet on forensic nursing in SRIPMS at Coimbatore

Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore College of Nursing, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences organized a state level conference on “Forensic Nursing: Navigating challenges and embracing opportunities”.

The inaugural programme started with the welcome address by Dr. T. Nirmala, Principal, College of Nursing, SRIPMS. Distinguished Speakers and Experts from forensic field discussed on the role of a nurse in forensic practice, how nursing care start from the crime scene, supporting the victim, collecting evidences, caring for the survivors and their medico legal responsibilities. Delegates from various institutions and hospitals of Tamil Nadu attended the conference and were benefited. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks by Professor, W. Chitra, Head of Community Health Nursing Department, College of Nursing, SRIPMS.
