Meeting on voters awareness program

Erode District Election Officer and Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara presided over a consultation meeting of officials at the Collectorate on Monday regarding the awareness activities to be carried out to make the public and new voters aware of the importance of voting.

 Joint Commissioner (State GST, Erode Division) and Monitoring Officer Mrs. Lashmi Bhavia. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, various awareness activities are being carried out to  emphasize that all the voters must vote, and to make the first voters aware of voting in the voting machine.

 Accordingly, as the Parliamentary Election 2024 is going to be announced soon, the Collector asked the officers of all departments to coordinate to the awareness activities in an understandable, accessible and innovative manner so that 100 percent voting takes place in the district.
