Millet fair held at KASC

Department of Biotechnology, Kongu Arts and Science College (KASC), Erode, under DBT Star college scheme, conducted “Millet Fair – Cum - Expo 2023” in the college Auditorium. The Fair was inaugurated by DBT star college Scheme Co-ordinator Dr. A.K.Vidya, Head, Department of Biochemistry. 

The students of the Department of Biotechnology displayed the millets in 20 stalls and sold varieties of healthy homemade food products like Millet vadai, Ragi halwa, Kambu samosa, Varagu smoothie, etc. Dr.A.K.Vidya and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management served as the Judges. 

The winners of the best three stalls based on the fixed criteria are honoured with prizes.
