Minister inaugurates Anganwadi centres at Thoothukudi

Social welfare minister Geetha Jeevan inaugurated two Anganwadi centres, that were constructed with fund - Rs 42 lakh – provided by L and T company as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in Mettupatti and Sundaravelpuram. District collector K Ilam Bagavath, Prayas trust president of L and T Meena Subramanian, municipal commissioner Madhubalan, revenue divisional officer Prabhu, project officer Gayathri, child welfare officer Ruby Fernando, DMK’s municipal secretary Anandasekaran, general committee member Kasturi, deputy mayor Jenita, northern zone chairman Nirmalraj, MLAs Nageswari, Bhavani Marshall, and Anthony Prakash Marcelalin, district women’s wing organizer Kavitha Devi, information wing organizer Abiraminathan, district deputy organizer Anthony Kannan, medical wing organizer Arun Kumar, youth wing organizers and others attended the event.
