Minister inaugurates Nilam App

The launch event of the software service Nilam App on behalf of the Department of Agriculture  was held at the Erode District Collectorate.  Housing and Urban Development Minister S.Muthusamy inaugurated the App. 

He said the App application has been developed as a special initiative of the district administration to record and document the important projects offered to the farmers by departments like agriculture, horticulture, agricultural marketing and  engineering departments, and to view and monitor the reports related to the projects provided. 

This event is a joint effort of Erode District Administration, Young Indians Organization and Perundurai Kongu Engineering College  Students Group. He said that this tool will be used by district collector, district level departmental officers, district level assistant directors of agriculture and horticulture etc.  The Minister appreciated the Young Indians organization and  Kongu Engineering College students who developed the Nilam App and gave certificates.
