Minister inspects development works at Tirupur

Tamil Development and Information Minister Mr. M. P. Saminathan, District Rural Development Agency Program Director Mrs. Ko. Malarvizhi 
inspected the unused open well rainwater collection structure and borewell rainwater structure in Indira Nagar, Padiyur panchayat,  Kangeyam Panchayat Union, in Tirupur district.
He  ordered that all projects being carried out in Tirupur district should be handed over for public use quickly.  
Steps are being taken to improve the infrastructure to ensure the increase in groundwater level by concentrating the rainwater in the rainwater harvesting tank, he added.
BDOs Mrs. Vimalavathy, Mrs. Anuradha, Assistant Engineers Mr. Muthukumar, Mr. Saravanakumar, President of Padiyur Panchayat Council Mrs. Jeevitha Sanmugasundaram, representatives of local bodies and departmental officers were present.
