Minister K Ramachandran and Nilgiris MP inspect rain affected areas

Tourism Minister K Ramachandran and Nilgiris MP A Raja inspected the rain-affected areas in the Nilgiris on July 22. They visited the Motorai community hall in Nanjunadu Panchayat, which has developed cracks, as well as sites of wall collapses in the Ithalar region and other affected areas.

During their inspection of the damaged buildings in the Porthiada residence, the Nilgiris MP provided three families with a welfare relief fund of Rs. 3 lakhs each.

District Collector Lakshmi Bhavya Thanneru, Additional Collector Koushik, Udhagai Revenue Officer Maharaj, Udhagai Panchayat Union President Mayan, and other government officials accompanied them during the inspection.
