Minister's speech is highly condemnable

Minister's speech is highly condemnable

Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Air Force led the attack and succeeded in the Operation Sindhoor against Pakistan. Following this, they went viral on the internet.
In this context, Madhya Pradesh BJP Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah's speech, referring to Sophia Qureshi as the sister of the terrorists who attacked Pahalgam, caused a huge controversy. His speech went viral on the internet. Opposition parties including the Congress condemned it.
Following this, Minister Vijay Shah had said that his statement was distorted, but he was ready to apologize 10 times for it. Many people in our country have a habit of apologizing after making a mistake.
Because this is unacceptable, the Bhopal High Court had ordered the Madhya Pradesh State Police Chief to register a case on its own and register a First Information Report (FIR) against Vijay Shah.
BJP Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah appealed in the Supreme Court against the High Court's order. The case came up for hearing yesterday before the bench of Chief Justice P.R. Gawai, and the comments made by Vijay Shah were strongly condemned.
“Your comments are unacceptable. Moreover, people holding Constitutional positions should exercise restraint in their speech,” it said, and advised him to approach the High Court and apologize. At the same time, the SC also refused to stay the order of the High Court in the Vijay Shah case.
It seems that our country’s politicians do not know what words will come out of their mouths if they get the mic. We see that even party leaders are getting entangled in defamation cases.
In particular, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, had to lose his MP post in a defamation case filed against him for speaking badly about a community called Modi. Many such incidents can be cited as examples.
In the current era of modern technology, no one can easily get away with speaking badly. It has become commonplace for someone to record it and spread it on social media and expose it.
I don't know how the BJP minister managed to call a female colonel of the army, who led a war that shocked Pakistan and won, the sister of terrorists. It is commendable that the High Court has come forward to investigate this matter.
So, whoever it is, especially political leaders, ministers, members of parliament & assembly who are involved in public life, should speak very responsibly!
