Tamil Development and Information Minister MP. Saminathan and Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated and distributed placement orders in the private sector job mela, jointly organised by the district administration, district employment office and women's program, held at Tirupur collectorate. They also distributed Rs 1.35 crore aid to 43 beneficiaries to under the Tahdco scheme.
They said in similar camps in Tirupur District 793 got jobs in Darapuram on 30.11.2021, 2,394 in Kangeyam on 02.07.2022, 8,333 in Tirupur Corporation on 11.02.2023, 340 in Avinasi on 05.08.2023 and 470 in Darapuram Tara on 05.11.2023. So far, 12,330 persons have been selected in 5 placement camps. In today's camp more than 150 leading companies participated and got different kind of jobs. Registration for free skill development trainings of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, counseling for entrepreneurs of District Industry Centre and guidance on bank loans through District Lead Bank were provided in the camp.
They gave shields to 2 persons selected in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission exam after attending the study circle of the District Employment and Vocational Guidance Cenre. They gave identity cards for members of Tamil Nadu Cleanliness Staff Welfare Board to 12 persons.
