Mock drill in Cauvery River

Erode fire and rescue services department conducted a mock drill on rescuing persons trapped in the floods in the Cauvery river at Bhavani Kooduthurai, Bhavani Kandan Pattarai, Kodumudi Iluputhoppu, Erode Karungalpalayam and Bhavani River in Sathyamangalam on Thursday, following release of 1.5 lakh cusecs of water from Mettur Dam in the river for the past few days.

In the presence of Erode RDO Sathish Kumar  , District Fire Station Officer Phulukandi, Assistant District Officer Murugesan, Station Officers Gomati Kumaraswamy, Navindran and all Departmental Officers, 108 Ambulance Doctors participated in the event at Erode Karungalpalayam.
