Coimbatore district monitoring officer and adi dravida welfare director Mr. D. Anand reviewed development works at a meeting held at the collectorate on Thursday.
Collector Mr. Kranthikumar Padi, District Revenue Officer Dr. M Sharmila, Additional Collector (Development) Mrs. Swethasuman, Assistant Collector (Training) Mr. Ankit Kumar Jain, Deputy Collector (Training) Ms. Madhuabhinaya, Personal Assistant to the District Collector (Development) Mr.M.Rama.Satyavijayan, Special Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme) Mr.Suresh and many government officers were present.
In his speech Mr. T. Anand said that under the All Gram Anna Revival Scheme, in the year 2024-2025, 329 works have been taken up at an estimated cost of Rs.19.45 crore, of which 253 works have been completed and the remaining works are in progress. Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme 4779 works have been taken up and 885 works have been completed at an estimated cost of Rs.243.25 crore in the year of 2024-25.
