Name, symbol erection work started

The task of inserting the name and symbol of the candidates in the EVMs used for the Nilgiris (Separate) Parliamentary Constituency was done on Thursday by the District Election Officer and District Collector M.Aruna in the presence of all recognized political party officials at the Utagai, BRICS Anglo Indian Memorial High School.

Following the announcement that elections will be held in Tamil Nadu in a single phase on April 11, the election-related work and various awareness events about the need to vote are continuing in the Nilgiris district.

 The event was attended by Additional Collector (Development), Kaushik, RDO Maharaj, Tahsildar Saravanakumar were present.
