Nandha institutions hold marathon to promote blood donation

To promote blood donation, Manitham, NGO of Nandha Educational Institutions, arranged a Marathon 2022 on the World Blood Donation Day on June 14. The 20 km boys' rally up-to Nandha engineering college was flagged off  by SP Sasimohan and 10 km girls rally up-to Nandha Central School by Erode East MLA Thirumagan Evara at VOC Ground in the presence of college chairman V Shanmugan,  secretaries S Thirumurthy, Nandakumar Pradeep, CEO Dr Arumugam, and Nandha technical complex director Dr Senthil Jayavel.

Over 2000 took part in the rally and finally the SP and MLA distributed prizes to 10 persons who came first in each event. Later, in the blood donation camp held  in the college, 520 units of blood was collected and provided to government hospital Dr.s K Jagadeeshkumar, T Prabhu, and S Sankaranarayanan.
